Nate served as a Marine Scout/Sniper Team Leader during his combat deployments to Iraq in 2006, and Afghanistan in 2011.  After an achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant and an honorable discharged, he was a primary instructor for a private SWAT Sniper School for several years before becoming a Gilbert Firefighter.  While in this current role as a Captain-Paramedic, Nate supports the Gilbert Police Dept. as a SWAT Medic.  In 2023 Nate developed and has been the primary instructor for the Gilbert SWAT's Regional Sniper School that runs annually.   Nate has completed Basic SWAT School, multiple LE advanced sniper courses, and two formal SWAT Sniper instructor courses;  The latest being American Sniper Association's Snipercraft Instructor Course.
