Shadow Country Qualification Courses of Fire

The Shadow Country quals are designed to demonstrate proficiency in the core fundamentals with an emphasis on real-world deployment capabilities.  

The big difference from the basic to advanced qual is the time requirements.  In the basic qual you are allowed to pre-extend your tripod and have it in-hand, giving you a time and deployment advantage.  Our advanced qual requires that everything is collapsed and stowed on/in your pack or kit for each iteration.  For both basic and advanced you will be wearing your body armor/plate carrier.   

Those who can not pass after remediation attempts will receive a Certificate of Attendance rather than a Graduation Certificate.  Our goal is to see our students succeed, and those who are engaged throughout the course will do just fine.  To date, all students have passed their quals.
